JFly's Store30 settembre Baby stepsI went for a 15 minute jog on Sunday.
Last night I laid down to sleep on my stomach for 10 minutes before it became too uncomfortable.
Slowly but surely, I'm getting bits and pieces of my pre-baby life back together. 28 settembre On our wayIsaac slept from 11:00 PM until 5:45 AM a few nights ago. We're back to being up a couple times a night again, but dare I say progress is being made?? I've posted a few new pics. 03 settembre Back to schoolI'm acutely aware of kids going to back to school this year. Maybe it's b/c I have a kid of my own now, or maybe it's because I know a handful of kiddos who are starting preschool or kindergarten for the first time. Our very own Grace started preschool yesterday, and she looked so cute that I couldn't help but share a picture my sis-in-law sent. I'm told that Grace made extra sure to brush her hair "in case the teacher asked," and that Grace was made line leader for the day. I'm sure that made her very excited. May all our kids one day be as cute as Grace...
17 agosto Isaac Keller LeahyHe's here! August seemed so far away when I first found out I was pregnant, but our baby boy is actually here! Isaac Keller Leahy was born on Monday, August 4th at 3:27 pm. He weighed 6 lbs 7 ozs and was 18.25 inches long. We named him Isaac because we really like that name and, incidentally, it means "laughter", which we like as well. :) Keller is my maiden name, which is why we selected it for his middle name. Isaac is almost 2 weeks old now and has competey turned our worlds upside down and put life in perspective. Since my pregnancy was relatively easy and uncomplicated, I haven't written much about my journey to motherhood. But now that Isaac is here and we're taking lots of pictures, I plan to update my Space more frequently. Enjoy the initial pictures! 27 giugno Summer VacayLuke and I made the trek down to the Redneck Rivera earlier this month for the annual Keller famliy vacation. As usual, we had fun spending time with my famliy, lounging on the white sands of the Gulf Coast, soaking up the vitamin D and just relaxing. Below are some thoughts and general observations about the trip. Pictures are posted!
27 maggio Aw, nutsLucious has some really wild and often funny stories from his job. This one in particular stuck with me: his crew responded to a medical call at an assisted living facility where the patient, an 86-year-old man, was unconcious and wasn't responding to anything. Lucious was trying to get the guy's blood pressure when he came to, and out of shock and confusion, the patient punched Lucious directly in the man parts! L doubled over while his co-workers laughed hysterically. This patient sounded particularly crochity (no pun intended), because he also called one of the nurses an "a** licker." Seriously?! Things I will never see or hear at my job... 03 aprile Who are these people?I took the stairs at work today and noticed there was a single, perfectly peeled slice of orange sitting on one of the steps. It was so intentionally placed - there's no way someone was just eating an orange and happened to drop a slice. Seriously - who does that? And how do you live with yourself? And who even wants to live with you, seeing as you're so careless and messy? |
